Roberta Balstad

Roberta Balstad is an experienced professional with over 30 years of work experience in the field of research and science. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Weather, Climate, and Society at the American Meteorological Society. Prior to this, she held various leadership positions at CIESIN and CIESIN. She has also served as the President and CEO of CIESIN and held positions such as Director of the Division of Social and Economic Science at the National Science Foundation. Roberta has published extensively on science and technology policy, data technologies, and research on the human dimensions of environmental change. She has been a fellow at St. Antony's College, Oxford University, and a Guest Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center.
