Meri Erickson

Meri Erickson is a digital marketing and public relations professional with 17 years of experience. She specializes in developing engaging communications strategies across various media platforms for nonprofits, arts, and cultural organizations, and small businesses. Meri launched Buzz Engagement Marketing, a communications firm, sharing her expertise to museums, social service organizations, historical societies, arts and cultural nonprofits, small businesses, and more. She has also managed external affairs and public relations efforts for the Fairfield Museum and History Center, organized special events and fundraising initiatives for The National Trust's Philip Johnson Glass House Museum, and worked as a reporter and editor. Meri holds a Masters of Arts in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Journalism from Colorado State University.
